My name is Vanessa, but you can call me Nane, and I want to thank you for being here. I am the mind and heart behind Manik Healing Arts, the vision that englobes my offerings.

I am also an acupuncturist, an astrologer, and a witch... if we understand the archetype of the witch as a wise woman who is aware of her power and feels connected to nature and the cosmos; a woman who navigates her light and her shadow knowing that the Earth supports her while the stars guide her... I am also embodying the archetype of the eternal student, while I aim to discover the teacher within me, because through teaching and sharing you can learn a lot too.

My first spiritual love was Tarot, which still supports me in my work. Then, I read the book "Many Lives, Many Masters," written by Dr. Brian Weiss, and it helped me to remember my way back to my heart. I read that book many moons ago, and I eventually became a Past Life Regression therapist, certified by Dr. Weiss himself... a lifetime dream come true!

In my own journey, I discovered that part of my purpose is to connect different realms of existence, so I love learning about the different Earth kingdoms -animal, plant, and mineral-, as well as other subtle realms as well. My "partners in crime" are my "muchachos" or my angels. Actually, the angelic realm is one of my favorites, so I find joy and fulfillment in helping others to connect with their angels too. I studied with Charles Virtue and got my Master Angel Certification, which reaffirmed what my heart already knew: there is no unique way to connect with the angels, yet the connection is unique for each person.

I have mentioned the heart many times, and I want you to know that this is not only a poetic metaphor for me. I believe the heart is not only the source of our creativity, but also the temple of our soul; it is a door to our intuition, and the CEO of our physical and astral bodies, facilitating our experience of life as human Earthlings. I became a +Heart and Resilient Heart facilitator through them, and I truly believe their research is helping to transform our world! If you are not so much into research, but still want to deeply connect with your heart, then I invite you to experience Cacao Medicine. I learned through Cacaoga® that the sacred medicine of Cacao is a warm and delicious way into the heart... a gift from my beloved Mayan culture!

My love for the Mayan culture led me to follow their wisdom and their sacred calendar, the Tzolk'in, and the 13 Moons Calendar that was born from it. I use this highly galactic (and yet down to Earth) language for self-exploration, and to facilitate the same process in others. My new passion is to co-create a system to facilitate the connection of the micro-cosmos with the macro-cosmos through astrology and acupuncture! I am also working towards earning my Ph.D. in Psychology, with a specialization in Consciousness and Spirituality. Lately, Death and Grief embarked me on a transformational healing journey that was guided by the dream world. This led me to reconnect with my native ancestors and their dreaming practices, showing me the incredible power of the Oneiric Realm. I found a wonderful dreamer and teacher, Robert Moss, who guided me and helped me refine my gift. I am now an Active Dream Teacher and a full-time dreamer!

As you can see, I love writing, reading, and creating.... to me, magic is creativity (and vice-versa). We are ONE creative consciousness that is constantly waving new realities to experience them. Moreover, our beloved Gaia (Earth) is going through an amazing cycle of expansion and evolution, and we came here to support her! There are great magi, shamans, sages, witches, priests and priestesses, healers, masters, astrologers, scribes, alchemists, leaders, etc. hidden behind our modern life roles; and we came here to remember all that wisdom and anchor its power... to serve Gaia and our souls. This is the time of the temple-less mystics! We are everywhere now! In my case, you can probably find me where there is wine and chocolate... or probably bathing in the ocean, or a pool, or any body of water where I can submerge myself =)
